Job Description

As a New Products & Promotions Sr. Manager, you are accountable for the supply chain execution of national promotions. You will supervise the development and orchestration of strategic supply and sourcing plans including in-depth analysis of F&P costs, potential liabilities estimates, production decisions, and inventory placement analysis. This role entails sophisticated problem solving, influencing without direct authority and the ability to sense and pivot in a multifaceted business environment. Additionally, this role requires a dynamic individual who can represent supply chain in a leadership capacity cross functionally as it relates to internal governance committees, owner/operator leadership teams and consultant/vendor management.

Responsibilities

In this role, your key responsibility will be to collaborate with multiple cross-functional departments to efficiently implement national promotions and new product launches in support of the marketing calendar. You will represent supply chain in a leadership capacity as the subject matter authority across a working team composed of peers from the Brand & Menu Strategy Team, Operations, Business & Consumer Insights, Culinary, and third-party resources.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Manage a team of cross functional collaborators in the development and execution of the US S&OP workstream
  • Develop supply chain strategies for national promotional events and new product launches throughout the year
  • Act as a liaison between McDonalds and the NSLC/Owner-Operators for program endorsements, updates, and post-promotional analysis
  • Share expectations and lead negotiations with supplier partners involved in promotions
  • Collaborate with and influence cross-functional team members acting as the voice of supply chain
  • Build contingency plans to assure supply throughout promotional windows
  • Proactively communicate project status with internal and external key collaborators
  • Lean into continuous improvement; identify areas of opportunity, best bets, and insights to be implemented within our ways of working

Qualifications

  • Supply Chain background with experience in commercialization, product development, supply strategy, and project management or a strong background in business/consumer analytics or finance.
  • Critical thinking with a consistent track record of on time execution
  • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills and become comfortable with presenting sophisticated strategies to cross functional senior leadership teams
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment with changing business dynamics
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities at once while remaining detail oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is: $129,800 - $165,490
